Kristina Rose Photography will host Sweet Clicks Photography Camp for Kids in Christiansburg, VA.
Photography is an amazing way for kids to explore and expand their creativity. This single day camp is a fun-filled day geared to be educational while allowing for the opportunity to explore the different techniques through both indoor and outdoor scenarios.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to take better photos with any camera you have
- The basic history and technique of photography
- Creative ways to frame images
- How to light your photos
- How to photograph while you explore
- Basic editing techniques on your phone or tablet
Who: Kids between the ages of 11-15
Where: Kristina Rose Photography Studio in Downtown Christiansburg, VA. This is a 1500 square foot space with plenty of room to learn as well as practice.
Requirements for camp: A desire to learn more about photography. All students will need a camera (DSLR, mirrorless, compact, or even cell phone will work)
How long: one weekday 9-4PM
Cost: Single Day Camp costs $75
Includes:
- A full day of instruction and practice, and projects
- A workbook to take notes and continue with homework
- Printed 8×10 photo of their favorite image
- A photo walk
- Potential tour of Old Town Printing in Downtown Christiansburg
Not included:
- lunch and snacks are NOT provided, so please send those with your child
- cameras are not included
