My WPPI Photography Conference Experience

What Happens In Vegas Doesn’t Always Stay in Vegas Being a solo entrepreneur means that I don’t have any co-workers. That can be amazing in some ways and pretty sad in others.  I adore people and I love bouncing ideas off others.  So the remedy for that, is to attend a photography conference. Recently, I…

That sounds like an awesome trip! I agree about scheduling time for sight-seeing… I went to a convention for my day job and had no time for exploring and that was a huge bummer. Thanks for sharing!ReplyCancel

I Don’t Want A One-Night Stand

Let’s create a relationship, not a one-night stand. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and business owner to name a few important attributes.  Each of those characteristics in itself comes with a load of responsibility.  You’ve heard me say that parenting is hard …life, in general, is a game that you have to…

Great Post! I need to read some of these motivational articles and books. I have lots of ideas, but the lack of motivation to implement them. It’s easy for me to get overwhelmed, need to focus on one thing at a time!ReplyCancel

There is a great podcast that I followed called entrepreneur on fire (EOFire) and he has a booked called The Freedom Journal. It’s a way to help you acheive a certain goal in 100 days or less. When I get a specific goal in mind, I really want to get it. It helps with accountability and planning.ReplyCancel

I am so proud of you for taking charge of your happiness! I have always admired you for your courage, confidence, and beauty inside and out. I *think* that I already receive your newsletter, at least that’s what the bot told me up above, haha.  As you know, I just started bullet journaling as a means of managing my mind and I can already see a difference.  One of my goals this month is to record and reflect on daily gratitude, I love it!  I really love the idea of giving what you want in return.  I think that as a goal next month, I am going to focus on that a bit more.  And, hell yes, way more productive in the morning!  Love you, girl.ReplyCancel

Watching your business grow over the years has brought me a bit of happiness. I’ve always looked forward to seeing your art on my Facebook feed. Seeing those precious, captured moments is a way I reflect on my own life and moments. This blog has inspired me to follow suit. I always feel like I am drowning in the day to day. I try to be the best mom, role model, wife, daughter, sister, friend and feel I’m failing miserably at it all. I need a fresh start and I read this book and get back on track. Thank you for your words, sharing your story and for the wake up call. 🙂 ReplyCancel

Christine – thank you so very much for saying that. It really means so much and you made my day.
We all have our own struggles, but stay positive. You are not failing. When we try in life, there’s no possible way to fail. Above all else…love yourself and that will see you through so much!ReplyCancel

My Dr. Seuss Parenting Win

Parenting is hard.  It’s the hardest thing that I’ve ever done.  And if I do nothing else with my business and this blog, I want to be a real person.  So I’m sure that anytime I write a personal post about parenting, it will start out with “parenting is hard.” Sometimes I have it together…

Hmmm, maybe a straw glued between the layers of felt, or behind the ears? I’m not 100% sure that would work but I say that’s amazing as is. I didn’t do much for our Dr. Seuss week. Too many costume days over the course of a year has this mama’s imagination tapped out!! 😉ReplyCancel
